Employees were nice at the office. I used the laundry room and it was clean. There's also many facilities that you can use like a TV room and a game room. I think the price I paid was reasonable.

The park is very busy in the summer moth, if you like to stay plan in front.

Minus: Unfortunately the internet service was very pure, although we had paid extra coast on top our site rate.

This is a beautiful private campground. Sites have a reasonable amount of privacy. Lots of cedar and evergreen trees. The campground operates year round. Some sites are near the ocean, others have a good ocean view, the rest are in the lush forest. The amenities include a laundromat, games room, party or leisure room. Propane refills are available You can purchase wood for campfires. In the summer you can get ice cream cones, coffee and light lunch. Campground is kept clean and tidy. Loonie showers also available in washrooms with with flush toilets. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I thought I would just spend the night there and continue my trip the next morning. I ended up staying another night, because I really enjoyed it. The first night I had a campsite down by the river. Wow what a view when the sun goes down. The second night, I was a bit higher. I took a walk with my dog at night, and there was a great atmosphere. I think it was special because you could see everyone around their fire looking at the water and the sunset. Everyone was quietly enjoying the beauty of nature at the same time. Each road is like at a different height so the view is always great. Except if you pick a ''forest'' campsite, you don't have the same view obviously you see trees.

Plus: We had a very nice site direct on the ocean, what was very nice and a big enjoyment, also the staff been very helpful and friendly. The park by self have lot of options, like hiking, kayaking or "just"enjoy mother nature or nice people. The location is perfect to drive to downtown Nanaimo.

It is great place for families, with a huge trail, games room, basketball & hockey court. WE love it. We are snowbirds this year and have spent the last 3 months there.
