    My husband and I bought a futon and they don’t even deliver. They told us some other company delivers for $50 if it takes 1 person and $70 if it takes 2. So two deliver but its actually $75 and then tax made it $78. They do not specify that they don’t deliver at the store. They also don’t put it together for you upon delivery even though you pay enough for that to be done. I struggled with it all afternoon and I am pregnant. I had ordered stuff from Walmart and even they sent it for free. I wouldn’ reccomend Jysk to anyone.

    We bought a couch here a couple days ago, had issues with the parts not fitting, so we brought it back to the store. We would have been comfortable exchanging, taking the floor model or ordering another, however 30 minutes of being sent to the warehouse, sent back to the store, talking one person, and then another, we just decided to take the return and go elsewhere. Then the return started. The return was too high a price for the brand new warehouse manager to do, so they called Claudio (the store manager) who decided to not leave their office and dictated through the phone the procedure. Another 30 minutes later, 3 phone calls to Claudio, we finally got our money back. This all could have been avoided; employees sweating, my face getting more and more impatient, if Claudio would have just come down from their hiding place and dealt with us directly. I'm done with this store, especially when managers aren't supporting their staff, leaving them feeling bad, and us feeling perturbed.

    It was surprisingly big with a great selection of items. Could maybe have had better service but overall I was impressed with this store.

    I am amazed in the lack of organization with in the Nanaimo store. My wife and self payed for mattress two months ago. We called and where assured it would be in today, and sure enough they told my wife the had trailer and forklift issuse, this is after issues that they had the previous month. Mean while they have our money that we could have been collecting interest on or used differently or not have to pay interest on credit card etc. Telling the costumer the true could go along way in keeping them happy. I know if I messed up in my line of work and cost the business 700 dollars, I would likely not have that position.

    I've had a terrible experience and caution anyone to shop here. I have been waiting over a month already for items that are on back order. I cannot get any update or estimated delivery date. It's the worst system and the worst customer experience. I even tried emailing the customer service email they provide, and they never responded. I plan to just get a refund and use my money somewhere else. Do the same!
