  Great products and knowledgeable staff.... smug, unfriendly owner behind the till, she really knows her stuff so I put up with it for my pets sake. Jeez, I killed her with kindness, that did't work either!!!

  I love this pet store. She always has insight and is helpful with new healthy food or treats for my pet companions. Don't pay attention to the other reviews.

  An amazingly helpful owner. Liz has helped me a ton to find the best food and other products for my dog. She knows ask of her products very well and has made special orders (better fitting coat). I highly recommend this store.

  As a new resident to Nanaimo I have enjoyed checking out the various independent pet supply stores. Before I moved here I searched for a store that carries the items I buy for my dog and lucky me I ended up living within walking distance of Oliver's in Brooks Landing- great store!!! But I still love to check out other stores, last week I happen to stop in the mall where True Blue was and we went in. A small fence was blocking off the store as the owner had a small dog in the store. When I asked if the fence could be moved enough for me to come in as I walk with a cane and can't go over the low fencing...I was asked if I really needed to come in!! I said yes as this was my first visit to the store. She replied that most people just ask for what they want and pay on the side of the desk. Again I mentioned that this was my first visit and I don't know what she carries and would like to look around. Someone else moved the fencing for me without little the little dog out. I didn't buy anything her attitude and higher prices turned me off. Oliver's has my loyalty! Excellent quality food, great knowledge, fabulous customer service...thanks Val!!!!
