  The woodgrove mall was awesome. Then they did a huge reno. They took out the iconic water clock which I think was a huge mistake. Then they put down white tiles throughout, so the floors always look dirty. It's a shame, with the cost of the unnecessary renovations they must have had to raise the rent? Because I've never seen so many empty store's in the mall before? I suppose this is the cost or "progress"?

  Not the biggest and best retail experience but not bad either. Good food court and easy parking. A day out from the boonies.

  This is the largest retail space on the island with the exception of Victoria. It has everything you need and more. Good variety at the food court. Lots of parking. Buss exchange is on the property and all wheelchair accessible.

  I love woodgrove mall. So many things to look at like winners, Walmart, Spencer's, sport check, the movie theatre Avalon, the Bay, showcase store, the huge food court has foods from A&W to DQ and orange Julius, New York fries, Greek food like OPA, Indian food like Amriikos Tavern, Great priced delicious pizza like Fresh Slice, great bathrooms. Very clean. And beautiful highly recommended jewelry stores like Mappins and peoples. Shoe stores like Shoe warehouse, boat house and Spring. As well as SO much more. If your looking to shop til you drop come to woodgrove mall shopping center. We also have amazing customer service at our costumer service department located by the bus loop. Very easy to navigate your way around the mall. Also have a Tim Hortons and a Starbucks located in the mall and so so so much more left to see. We also have toys R us and babies R us located beside Walmart on our other side of the mall. You can find trendy and very high fashion items where ever you go in this mall. I love living in nanaimo and woodgrove being on of the many places it has to offer.

  Well, what more would you expect; this is like the Center of town, and shopping Plaza.

  With Walmart and all the other big stores, it is easy to find one's self here.
